Description

Russia’s War against Ukraine and the Arctic

Russia’s war against Ukraine led to the most severe changes to international cooperation in the Arctic since the end of the Cold War.

On 14 June 2023, 15:00-16:30 (Brussels time)  prof. Stefan Kirchner will discuss a number of questions related to the international governance of the Arctic and the Russian war against Ukraine. These questions will be addressed against the background of the super-topic dominating Arctic-related discourses, climate change, and its connections to security.

The event is orginized by the Eureast's Knowledge Centre 'Ukraine and Eastern Europe' (‘Ukraine-plus’).
