Dear Colleagues and Friends,

You are cordially invited to attend the defence of my PhD dissertation, titled "Ensuring the trustworthy use of Medical AI: a legal perspective", which represents a significant exploration into the foundational concepts of trust in health, the impact of AI on healthcare, and the legal building blocks to ensure safe, responsible AI integration, while evolving doctors' roles and enhancing communication.

The defence will take place on September 5th at 5pm, in Gent.  Your presence and insights would be greatly appreciated as I present my findings and engage in a scholarly discussion about the implications of this work.

Prior to the event, the symposium “Ensuring the Trustworthy Use of Medical AI” will take place at the same location, featuring renowned speakers sharing their perspectives starting at 2.30 PM.
