Description

The Faculty of Law and Criminology will award the 2025 Sarton Medal to Professor Lucien Bély (Institut de France, Sorbonne Université). The medal recognises outstanding research in the history of science. Before the award ceremony, the laureate will give a lecture.

3. Sarton lecture, in French, by Prof. Dr. Lucien Bély on ‘Les femmes dans la diplomatie aux temps modernes’.
4. Handing over of the Sarton Medal by Prof. Dr. Maarten Van Dyck, Academic Secretary of the Sarton Committee.
