Description

In this Meet the Jury seminar, Prof. Eline Menu (Translational Oncology Research Center, VUB, Belgium) will give a seminar on sEVs (small extracellular vesicles) and their involvement in multiple myeloma (MM) pathology and drug resistance. Dr. Richard Groen will present his work on in vivo modelling of hematological malignancies by reconstruction of the hematopoietic niche. By introducing bone marrow-like scaffolds into mice, (primary) myeloma cells can be engrafted into a bone marrow microenvironment (BME), more representative to their native environment.
