Are you interested in exploring collaborative opportunities with academic partners in Eastern Europe and Central Asia? Would you like to initiate joint PhD programs with universities in Ukraine, invite a researcher from Georgia, or launch a new scientific project with partners in Kazakhstan? Or perhaps you already have established contacts in the region and are looking to strengthen these relationships? 

We warmly invite you to attend the Open Steering Group Meeting of Ghent University’s Eureast Platform! 

During this event, you will have the chance to learn more about the Eureast Platform and its activities, including an overview of existing partnerships in Eastern Europe and Central Asia as well as funding opportunities in these regions. We will also present the plans for our upcoming academic mission to Armenia and Georgia in March 2025. After the meeting, you are kindly invited to to join us for lunch, where you can network with fellow participants and explore potential collaborations. 

This meeting is open only to the members of Ghent University with an interest in the regions covered by the Eureast Platform.

Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine and Uzbekistan.
