Description

26/01/2023 - Lecture "Nothing about me, without me": achieving patient and public involvement in research in medical and health sciences

Guest speaker: Prof. Claire Collins (Irish College of General Practitioners, Dublin)

Organiser: Department of Public Health and Primary Care

Focusing on patient-centred health care means that patients are more involved in decisions about their health and medical care. But has this same occurred in medical and health sciences research? In this talk, this will be explored further, particularly in relation to those on the fringes of our society.
