What? 

During this kick-off event we want to introduce a new UGent innovation program called Need2MedTech. More details on the program itself can be found on this UGent Intranet page. 

This is an open info session where you can discover whether Need2MedTech is the right opportunity for you. For PhD students, this course is part of the doctoral schools program. We finish the event with a networking reception.

For whom? 

PhD students (year 3/4) and postdoctoral researchers involved in research relevant for innovation in the medical sector or having a strong interest in medical innovation.

Need2MedTech trajectory

This is an innovation program focused on translating clinical needs into technological solutions and spin-off opportunities. Through clinical immersion, hands-on workshops, and business coaching, you will learn how to leverage your research skills to create real medical impact.
