As part of the Sustainable and Fair Trade Week at Ghent University, our faculty will be dedicating Thursday 26 March 2026 entirely to sustainability and fair trade. Let yourself be inspired by engaging activities and discover how we can work together toward a fairer and more sustainable future.

Guest Lecture by Philippe Weiler (10:30-11:15)

In the morning, we welcome Philippe Weiler, CEO of Fairtrade Belgium, in the course on Corporate Social Responsibility. For this occasion, the lesson will be open to all interested participants.

During his guest lecture, Philippe will guide us through the story of fair trade. He will discuss the ecological and social impact of our everyday consumption choices and how more conscious decision-making can contribute to a more sustainable and equitable world.
