On Tuesday October 14th the Faculty Library Engineering and Architecture organizes the info session “What can HPC-UGent mean to my research?”, hosted by Ewald Pauwels, scientific coordinator High Performance Computing (HPC) Infrastructure at Ghent University.
Scientific computing has become pervasive in science. In all fields of research, at some point, scientific or technical problems will have to be solved with the aid of a computer.
But what if your laptop can no longer cope with the computational modeling, numerical simulations, visualisation of data, artificial intelligence, … that you need to do? Check out the infrastructure and services of HPC-UGent!
In this session, we’ll give you a brief intro in what HPC-UGent offers and how this could benefit your research (not to mention your own convenience). In addition, we’ll demo using the infrastructure and answer questions.
