Description

Prof. Ishigure is a faculty member in the Department of Applied Physics and Physico-Informatics at Keio University, Japan. He earned his Ph.D. in material science from Keio University in 1996 and has since focused his research on optical communication technologies, particularly polymer optical waveguides and fiber optics. He is known for developing the "Mosquito method," an innovative fabrication technique for single-mode polymer optical waveguides.

He will give a seminar on Monday December 16^th 15:00-15:30 followed by 15 min Q&A.
