Description

Experimentation is one of the most important methods in the social sciences, particularly when studying causal relationships. This course introduces relevant types of experimental designs, including their strengths and pitfalls. Moreover, the course covers issues of operationalizing, questionable research practices, as well as the analysis of experimental data with the use of appropriate statistical models. We will also discuss the importance of open science including pre-registration, reproducible materials, open data, and reproducible analyses.
