Description

Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine has radically affected cooperation between Ukraine and the European Union. On the one hand, Brussels has shown an unexpected readiness to support Ukraine militarily, financially, and economically. On the other, the war has spotted the light on the bottlenecks and inefficiency of a number of European policies. Now it is time to take a sober look at the situation on the ground in Ukraine and assess the contribution of the EU and its member states to the fight against the Russian aggression. The question also remains whether and how a Ukrainian victory can be achieved and what is needed to secure stable peace on the European continent. By drawing on personal observations and in-house analysis, a group of experts from the think-tank “Ukrainian Prism”, will present their vision on these and other topical issues, including the current developments in the war, military support for Ukraine, reforms, sanctions, and fight against Russian disinformation. During a Q&A period, the experts will also take questions from the audience.

The event will feature the following speakers:

Hennadiy Maksak, Founder and Executive Director of the Foreign Policy Council “Ukrainian Prism”, a Ukrainian think-tank

Olga Chyzhova, Communication Director at “Ukrainian Prism”

Mariia Koval-Honchar, Project Coordinator, Representation of the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung in Ukraine

The event is hybrid. A Zoom link will be sent to the registered participants a day before the event.
